Bouncy Castle Hire Terms and Conditions

Castle Kings of Worcester Terms and Conditions of Hire

It is your responsibility to ensure that all possible measures are taken to ensure that our bouncy castles and inflatables are not damaged during the duration of the hire.

Please adhere to the following safety instructions:

1. Capacity and age limits are set on a number of products forsafety reasons and must be followed.
2. Food, chewing gum and other choking hazard are not permitted on any of our equipment.
3. Silly string, mud, party poppers, face paints, coloured streamers and other messy items are not permitted on the bouncy castle or inflatables.
4. If a bouncy castle or inflatable is soiled or overly dirty on collection, a cleaning charge may be incurred.
5. Shoes, badges, jewelry, glasses and sharp objects must be removed before using the bouncy castle.
6. Do not glue/stick/attach or hang any bunting/signs to the bouncy castle or hire equipment, this will cause risks to the users and damage the equipment. Cleaning and repair charges will apply.
7. Barbecues and bonfires may not take place in near to the bouncy castle.
8. Smoking is strictly forbidden on or near all inflatables and event equipment at all times.
9. Children must not climb or sit/lay on the walls of the bouncy castle.
10. The bouncy castle or inflatable must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
11. Pets and toys are not permitted on the bouncy castle.
12. Please ensure that children do not behave in a dangerous manner or in a way likely to cause injury or distress to others. This may include pushing, fighting or bumping into each other.
13. Prevent the use of older children and small children on the bouncy castle at the same time.
14. Please turn off the blower at the mains when the bouncy castle is not in use.
15. The front safety step is solely to help users get on and off the inflatable and must not be used for bouncing. Jumping on the front safety step is dangerous and can cause injury.
16. Those with existing back and neck injuries are advised against using bouncy castles.
17. Use of the inflatable during inflation or deflation is strictly prohibited and highly dangerous.
18. It is not advisable to use bouncy castles, inflatable slides or similar inflatable event products when feeling nauseous or ill.
19. Adults must ensure children are clothed appropriately to prevent friction burns.
20. Customers must check there is adequate space for the inflatable. We require at least 2ft on either side of the inflatable, plus 4ft of clearance behind the inflatable for the blower.
21. Bouncy castles without rain covers may become slippery in the event of rain and should be used with caution
22. In heavy rain, we recommend turning the bouncy castle off. Wetness and bubbling can be dried with a towel afterwards.
23. If the blower ceases to work, clear children from the bouncy castle immediately.
24. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the hire equipment fits in their venue/garden/event. Product dimensions are available on each product listing. If you are unsure, please confirm venue dimensions with your chosen venue.
25. We require access of at least 3ft width to the location of the bouncy castle, as we deliver them using a sack trucks.
26. We carry 50m extension cables. If the intended location of your bouncy castle or inflatable is further than 50m from a power outlet, you will need to hire a generator.
27. Ensure that the path to the intended location of your bouncy castle, plus the location itself, is free of debris, obstacles and animal waste.
28. Bouncy castles and inflatables must be located on a flat surface.
29. If the blower overheats, switch it off at the mains and then turn it on again one or two minutes later. If it does not restart, please inform the Castle Kings of Worcester team immediately.
30. Customers wishing to pay online must do so at least 2 days prior to their event.
31. Customers wishing to pay cash on the day of the event must pay the delivery team prior to set up of the hire equipment.
32. Customer cancellations are fully refundable when we are informed 7 days prior to the event date.
33. If customers do not inform us of a booking cancellation with 7 days notice of the event date, the booking fee is non-refundable.
34. We may have to cancel or rearrange bookings due to adverse weather conditions. This is for children/customer safety. Please refer to our Adverse Weather Policy
35. We reserve the right to refuse hire in the event that the venue or customer's property is deemed unsuitable by us. Please check the sizes of the equipment and clearances required before delivery as full payment is due if inadequate space is available. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
36. We do not automatically refund customers for late delivery and collections if they are within a 30 minute window from the stated time on the booking form.
37. If you have any issues or concerns on the day of your event, please contact us immediately so we can work towards a resolution with you.
38. Abuse towards our delivery team will result in the hire equipment being removed from your event with no refund being issued

Disclaimer

All people who use our bouncy castles do so at their own risk. The customer is responsible any for injuries and damages caused by negligence, recklessness or misuse.

The above guidelines are intended to ensure the safety of all users of the equipment. It is the Customers responsibility to ensure these guidelines are adhered to.

Castle Kings of Worcester cannot accept responsibility for any injuries or losses caused by the use of our equipment.

By booking, you accept you have read the above agreement in full and understand the conditions of hire. You also accept that you are responsible for the inflatable for the duration of your event and that you will pay for any damages or losses, including a cleaning or repair charge if the inflatable is returned in a damaged, dirty or otherwise unacceptable condition.
